National Family Benefit Scheme

Criteria:

  • In case of death of any earning member of a family below the poverty line between the ages of 18 and 64, a lump sum benefit is given to the family/heir beneficiary of the deceased.
  • A lump sum of Rs. 20,000 is given by the Central Government.

Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme

Criteria:

  • Elderly destitute male and female beneficiaries aged 65 and above whose names are in the list of families below the poverty line.
  • A total grant of Rs 1,500 from the Central Government (Rs 500 for beneficiaries aged 80 years and above) and Rs 1,300/1,000 from the State Government (from the Shravan Bal Pension Scheme).

Indira Gandhi National Widow Pension Scheme

Criteria:

  • Widow beneficiaries between the age group of 40 to 65 years whose name is in the list of families below poverty line.
  • Widow women, divorced women, abandoned women, abused and prostitutes, third gender beneficiaries.
  • A total grant of Rs. 1,500 will be provided to widow beneficiaries with 1 child and Rs. 300 to widow beneficiaries with 2 children (Rs. 1,300/1,200 through the state government).

Indira Gandhi National Disabled Pension Scheme

Criteria:

  • Beneficiaries in the age group of 18 to 65 years whose names are in the list of families below the poverty line.
  • Persons with more than 80% disability.
  • 300 from the Central Government (Rs. 1200 from the State Government) total grant of Rs. 1500.

Sanjay Gandhi Niradhar Scheme

Criteria:

  • Beneficiary below 65 years of age.
  • Annual income should be Rs. 21,000 and Rs. 50,000 for disabled beneficiaries.
  • Disabled, terminally ill, destitute men/women, widows, divorced, abandoned women, orphans, third gender beneficiaries.
  • A total grant of Rs. 1,500, comprising Rs. 1,200/1,300 from the State Government (Rs. 300/200 from the Central Government) and Rs. 1,500.

Shravanbal Seva State Pension Scheme

Criteria:

  • Beneficiaries aged 65 and above.
  • Elderly destitute male and female beneficiaries whose names are not in the list of families below the poverty line and whose annual income is less than Rs. 21,000.
  • A total grant of Rs. 1,000/1,300/1,500 from the State Government (Rs. 500/200 from the Central Government) for a total of Rs. 1,500.

Documents required for State Government Sponsored and Central Government Sponsored Schemes

  • The name of the family should be included in the list of families below the poverty line in rural/urban areas or the annual income of the family should be up to Rs. 50,000/- per annum for disabled beneficiaries and up to Rs. 21,000/- for all other beneficiaries.
  • Resident certificate (Certificate issued by Gram Sevak/Village Revenue Officer/Mandal Officer will be accepted). This certificate can be obtained through Setu as well as Maha e-Seva.
  • Disability certificate (certificate from the District Surgeon (Civil Surgeon) as per the provisions of the Persons with Disabilities Act, 1995 regarding the disability of the physically challenged, blind, deaf, deaf-mute, mentally retarded)
  • Orphan certificate (issued by Gram Sevak/Chief Officer/Ward Officer and verified by Group Development Officer/Project Officer, Integrated Child Development Service Scheme).
  • Death certificate of husband. (For widowed beneficiaries).
  • Ration Card
  • Aadhar Card
  • Birth Certificates of Children/Proof of Age of Children.
  • Proof of Age of the Applicant.
  • Certificate of not taking benefit of any scheme (Certificate from District Women and Child Development Officer’s Office (for widowed beneficiaries).
  • Proof of change in name.
